Our Yoga Classes

Our Signature Class! A well-balanced yoga session to the sound of the breath and music that will make you groove. The word ‘vinyasa’ is derived from the Sanskrit term nyasa, which means ‘to place’, and the prefix ‘vi’ means ‘in a special way’. Vinyasa is a flowing sequence of specific asanas (yoga postures) coordinated with the movements of the breath. Vinyasa yoga requires that we cultivate an awareness that links each action to the next – one breath at a time.
Mind, body, and spirit!. A slow flow yoga class is a gentle yet deep practice that combines fluid movement with longer holds, focusing on connecting breath to a steady, unhurried pace. This style is ideal for building flexibility and strength while promoting relaxation, mindfulness, and a deeper connection to the body, making it accessible for all levels.
Yoga with yoga blocks, yoga straps, balls, bolsters and blankets. Improve body awareness and strength. Have you tried placing a block between your legs in downward dog? Try it and feel the difference, as well as the direct, immediate benefit you receive. This works very well for the hyperflexible participants too! Experience an Iyengar yoga style that uses props to support the body and help you achieve poses with greater comfort, alignment, and relaxation. These classes focus on gentle, supported stretching and mindful breathing to release tension and calm the mind.
Hatha yoga focuses on physical postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama). It is a gentler, slower-paced style than vinyasa or power yoga, where you hold each pose for several breaths, making it ideal for beginners and those seeking stress relief. Hatha yoga aims to balance the body's active and passive qualities and is a holistic practice that includes poses, breathing exercises, and meditation.  Discover the balance of both sun and moon poses, of the breath required to flow through the poses while maintaining the traditional principles of alignment and mental discipline.
Restorative yoga is a gentle and calming practice that helps both the body and mind settle into deep relaxation. With the support of props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks, each pose is designed to feel comfortable, safe, and effortless. Instead of stretching or pushing yourself, you simply relax into each shape and allow your body to unwind at its own pace. This style of yoga is based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar, and it was beautifully developed by Judith Hanson Lasater, who emphasizes that rest is a vital part of overall well-being. In restorative yoga, you give yourself permission to slow down, breathe deeply, and feel supported both inside and out. It is an ideal practice for stress relief, resetting the nervous system, gentle healing, and for those days when you need care rather than challenge.
Power yoga is a vigorous, fitness-based style of vinyasa yoga that links breath to movement in fast-paced sequences, focusing on strength, endurance, and cardiovascular conditioning. Unlike more traditional styles, it's often more physically demanding, featuring quick transitions between poses and a greater emphasis on athletic and aerobic workouts rather than slow, restorative poses.
